Shoot, I'll try anythin' you'd recommend, at least once. Wasteful, otherwise. [even if the thing he'd be wasting isn't strictly necessary for survival. but it feels rude to point that out to a... bartender / tavern owner.] I'm still learnin' what sorta flavors I like in the first place.

He pours another tumbler of Gin. This time, though, he mixes it with some sort of greenish colored liquid, as well as a second bottle of liquor that smells far more sweet and floral. Finally, a more syrupy mixture is added in, before all parts are mixed together.
Well. [He shakes the bottle of liqueur with a smirk.] This is used typically to ease summer illnesses. It has a pleasant enough sweetness, so when combined with a bit of syrup, gin, and a bit of citrus juice...
[He'll only force one more drink on Livio. He's a big man, but he doesn't seem to have any experience with alcohol. And Luca doubts he'd be able to carry the guy home himself.
Anyway, he tracks down a carafe of orange colored juice. It's poured into a glass just before Luca turns his back to grab a corked bottle.]
Cover your ears. [It's the only warning Livio gets before he removes the cap. A rather large pop follows, along with an excessive amount of fizz siphoning out.]
[luca may be right. luca IS right. and what livio doesn't know is going to catch up to him in about 20 minutes.
he very much does not cover his ears, which... they both probably regret, considering he jumps and yelps at the pop. actually, livio himself just laughs after the fact.]
